Better Late Than Never

Well my friends, it has been awhile since I have updated.   I know I was able to see a lot of you around Christmas time, but for the rest of you I thought I would send you this little insight into my life.  Arkansas is still really great.  I love working for K-Life and the Lord continues to show me that this is where He wants me for the moment (or really the next 3 years)!  I thought that after the beginning few months the job would slow down, but really that is not the case.  It seems to get busier and busier.  BUT, that is what I like about it.  I wouldn't have it any other way.  Most Saturdays we have been having what we call "Spaghetti Saturday."  Burke makes some spaghetti and the kids (mostly junior high) come and hang out from 6:30-10:30.  We spend the night playing mafia, hide and seek, and any other games the kids come up with.  It is great to provide the kids with a place to hang out on the weekends and to be able to spend more time investing in their lives.  We also have a new movie room, projector and big screen, which has allowed for us to have something new and fun for the kids!  This past week I was in Branson, MO for our staff conference and it was amazing.  I was able to see my close friends that are in K-Life that I went through the institute with and other friends I have in Branson.  It was a great week of being refreshed, energized, and challenged on how I can improve.  It was a great way to welcome in the new semester!  Other than that, not much else is going on.  I did get a guitar for Christmas so hopefully on my days off I will be able to learn how to play!  It might take awhile though!  I hope things are going well for yall and that you enjoyed Christmas with family and friends!

Love you!
